Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Crowne Health Care of Fort Payne

Crowne Health Care of Fort Payne is currently accepting applications for a Med Cart Nurse- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) within our long-term care facility specializing in geriatrics. Different shifts are available and will be discussed during the interview process. This position requires dedication to a job well done, dependability, flexibility, accountability, and a positive attitude is a must. Must enjoy working with our residents and families.

Qualifications

• Must have current an RN or LPN certification
• LTC: 1 year (Preferred)
• All potential new employees are required to have a negative COVID 19 test prior to date of hire, facility to provide testing.
• Must pass background check and drug screen

Essential Job Functions

• Responsibilities of this position include: medication administration, computer documentation including assessment of resident's current status, observation and reporting of any change in resident's status to MD/sponsors as necessary, ordering medications from pharmacy including refills of medications, supervision of CNA staff, clean/dress wounds as ordered by physician, collect samples for lab testing, receiving new orders from physicians with notification to sponsors concerning new orders.
