The Alabama Nursing Home Association (ANHA) today unveiled a completely redesigned website that provides news and information for people researching long term care options.
Combining visual elements with modern design, ANHA.org features articles on quality of care, community involvement of nursing home residents and news about the long term care profession.
“Our website is fast becoming Alabama’s best source for information about skilled nursing care and rehabilitation services,” ANHA President Frank Brown said. “Visitors are able to learn about the great things taking place in our centers every day, and determine which care option is best for them.”
The Association’s social media channels are featured prominently on the website with Facebook and Twitter feeds posted on the home page.
“Our online platforms allow us to reach more people with the powerful story of how skilled nursing care improves lives while serving as resource for our members,” Brown added. “I encourage our members to like ‘Alabama Nursing Home Association’ on Facebook and follow ‘@ANHATweets’ on Twitter so they can share our good news.”
The website also features a refreshed facility locator where consumers can search for and locate nursing homes throughout Alabama.
The facility locator is made possible through a partnership with Comfort Care Hospice, Gericare Medical Supply, Restore Therapy Services and Senior Care Pharmacy.
