Halloween 2013 was all treats and no tricks for residents of Walker Rehabilitation Center in Carbon Hill.

Nursing home staff partnered with 13 of the facility’s vendors and suppliers to plan a community wide Fall and Halloween Festival. The festival included several games such as go fish, bean bag toss, shooting gallery and bowling for prizes. “Elvis Presley” sang for the group while several people danced to the oldies. Each resident of Walker Rehab Center received a pumpkin full of candy and surprises.

Later in the day, the nursing home residents opened the doors to trick-or-treaters from the surrounding community and Carbon Hill School.
