Five nursing home leaders from across the state were elected to serve on the Alabama Nursing Home Association Executive Board as Regional Directors. Each individual was elected by ANHA member facilities to represent various geographic regions and will serve a two year term.
- Region 1: Cindy Lewis, Woodland Village Health Care Center, Cullman
- Region 3: Kevin Ball, Arlington Rehab and Health Care Center, Birmingham
- Region 5: Eldridge Stewart, Camden Nursing Facility, Camden
- Region 7: Gail McInnish, Oakwood North Baldwin’s Center for Living, Bay Minette
- Region 9: John Burchfield, NHS Management, Tuscaloosa
The ANHA Executive Board sets the association’s strategic goals, oversees all activities and represents the nursing home profession at various events, government committees and community groups. Regional Directors hold regular meetings with nursing homes in their respective area to provide information on association activities and receive feedback from the membership.
