Ms. Alabama Nursing Home 2013 Verdell Goodson has been busy since we last checked in on her.
Recently, she spoke with high school students at a career fair and visited a nursing home in south Alabama.

While in south Alabama to participate in Mardi Gras, Mrs. Goodson visited Golden Living Center Foley. She spoke to the residents and staff about her experiences and adventures as Ms. Alabama Nursing Home. She also shared some words of wisdom about enjoying life and the advantages of getting older and wiser.

Before she traveled to south Alabama, Mrs. Goodson took time out of her busy schedule to attend a career fair at Enterprise High School in Enterprise, Alabama. She discussed the benefits of living and working in a nursing home with some of the over 200 students in attendance. Mrs. Goodson is a resident of Enterprise Health & Rehab Center.

Ms. Goodson, age 79, is a resident at Enterprise Health and Rehab Center in Enterprise, Alabama. At her nursing home, she participates in the Coffee County Relay for Life, is a member of the resident council and plans to start a welcoming committee.
As Ms. Alabama Nursing Home, Ms. Goodson travels to various nursing homes and community events to share her experiences. During her reign, she also serves as an ambassador for nursing home residents at several Alabama Nursing Home Association events.
