Edna Farrell, Ms. Alabama Nursing Home 2014, is ready to travel the state and share the good works taking place in health care communities.
Recently, Ms. Farrell attended a ribbon cutting at Storybrook Farm in Opelika. The ceremony marked the opening of a new riding arena for children with terminal illnesses.
Later this month, Ms. Farrell will travel to Birmingham to address the Alabama Nursing Home Association’s Activity & Social Service Auxiliary Convention. Over 200 activite and social service professionals are expected to be in attendance.
Ms. Farrell is glad to attend community events, participate in parades or visit nursing homes during her reign as Ms. Alabama Nursing Home.
