A long-term care nurse is a registered nurse (RN) who is responsible for caring for patients who required extended medical care. ... Long-term nurses administer medications to patients, coordinate patient care and ensure that patients receive appropriate medical care in a safe environment.

Registered nurses (RNs) monitor patients, develop patient care plans, implement treatments and provide guidance. RNs who provide in-home care or who work in a care facility can supervise the work of licensed practical nurses (LPNs), nursing assistants or home care aides.

Experience:

• home health: 1 year (Preferred)
• EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)

License:

• BLS, ACLS (Preferred)
