Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

We are looking for full time and part time CNA's. Must have a passion for geriatric population. We offer competitive wages, night shift differential, and excellent benefits. We offer an extra pay incentive for perfect attendance each pay period.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Completes or assists residents with ADL's (bathing, dressing, hygiene, and grooming in accordance with established Care Plan/Daily Care Guides.
• Provide care in accordance with Resident Care Policies and Procedures and ensures the safety and well being of the residents.
• Assist residents with transfers to and from bed as necessary, and transports residents using wheelchairs, or assists them with walking as per Care Plan/Daily Care Guides.
• Assist in keeping residents' rooms and equipment clean, neat, and orderly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, and possess sufficient communication skills to perform tasks required.
• High school degree and previous Long Term Care Nursing Assistant is preferable but not required.
• Must possess a current (not expired or lapsed) Nurse Aide Certification
• Must have no findings of abuse, mistreatment, neglect, or misappropriation of property listed on registry or background check.
• Must be listed on the Alabama Nurse Aide Registry or Registry of another State.
