The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has recognized two Golden Living Center Oneonta staff members for their work on the Initiative to Reduce Avoidable Hospitalizations among nursing home residents.
Executive Director Suzy Shelton and Director Nursing Amanda Horton received the CMS Outstanding Achievement Award. This facility is one of 23 working with the Alabama Quality Assurance Foundation (AQAF) on the CMS project. AQAF provides health care quality improvement services to clients in the public and private sectors. Through a contract with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, AQAF serves as Alabama’s Medicare Quality Improvement Organization. For more information visit www.aqaf.com.
