Ms. Goodson, age 79, is a resident at Enterprise Health and Rehab Center in Enterprise, Alabama. At her nursing home, Verdell participates in the Coffee County Relay for Life, is a member of the resident council and plans to start a welcoming committee. As Ms. Alabama Nursing Home, Ms. Goodson travels to various nursing homes and community events to share her experiences. During her reign, she also serves as an ambassador for nursing home residents at several Alabama Nursing Home Association events.
