Thanks to a generous donation from CB&S Bank, Burns Nursing & Rehab is the newest member of Senior Crimestoppers.
Nursing home residents and staff joined leaders from CB&S Bank and officials from the Senior Housing Crime Prevention Foundation to make the announcement today.
As part of Senior Crimestoppers, each resident of Burns Nursing & Rehab will receive a personal lock box to store valuables. The facility will receive an annual donation from the Wish Comes True program, the “Time of Your Life” DVD series for resident entertainment and a plaque to display that shows the facility has a zero tolerance for crime. Senior Crimestoppers also includes a toll-free crime reporting tip line and crime prevention training for nursing home staff.
Burns Nursing & Rehab is a 57-bed skilled nursing facility located in Russellville. Mark DeArman is the Administrator, and Daphne Cagle is the Director of Nursing.
Headquartered in Russellville, CB&S Bank has over 40 locations in Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee.
Senior Crimestoppers is a partnership between the Senior Housing Crime Prevention Foundation, the Alabama Nursing Home Association’s Louis E. Cottrell, Jr. Foundation for Excellence in Long Term Care, local banks and nursing homes.
