Members of the Alabama Nursing Home Association (ANHA) today elected Brian Scheri to serve on the ANHA Executive Board as Region I Director.

Scheri is Administrator of Mitchell-Hollingsworth Nursing & Rehab Center in Florence. He will complete the term of former Region I Director Cindy Lewis who recently resigned. Scheri will stand for re-election in 2015.

“I’m honored to have the support of the nursing homes in Region I,” Scheri said. “I look forward to being an active member of the ANHA Executive Board and helping our profession continue to provide high quality care for our nursing home residents.”

Scheri has been a licensed nursing home administrator in Alabama since 2004, and has been administrator of Mitchell-Hollingsworth for 10 years. He is also licensed in Tennessee. He and his wife Shannon have four children. Scheri is a member of the Florence Rotary Club, Florence Exchange Club and the Florence Downtown Business Association.
