Alabama Nursing Home Association members elected officers for 2025 at the association’s annual meeting in Montgomery.
The incoming officers are:
- Chairman Jim Walker, Preston Health Services, Centre
- Vice-Chairman Mark Traylor, Traylor Porter Healthcare, Opelika
- Treasurer Cody Long, NHS Management, Tuscaloosa
- Secretary Kevin Ball, Ball HealthCare, Mobile
- Past-Chairman Bryan Jones, Crowne Health Care, Monroeville

Jim Walker, 2025 ANHA Chairman of the Board.
Each officer is elected to a one-year term on the ANHA Board of Directors and serves on the Executive Committee.
Walker’s election as board chairman follows his service as treasurer since 2016. He represented Region 1 on the board for several years prior to his election as treasurer.
“I’m honored my fellow association members elected me to serve them in this capacity,” Walker said. “Our association is strong because we all work toward the same goal which is providing quality care to our residents and patients. Nursing home and assisted living care is constantly changing, but we’ll be able to adapt and thrive as long as we are committed to working together.”
Walker is President & CEO of Preston Heath Services. He has a Bachelor of Science from The University of Alabama and is a native of Centre. He is a licensed nursing home administrator in the state of Alabama.
