Magnolia Ridge shared the following story as part of ANHA’s 75 Stories of Care initiative.
David Brannon is currently participating in both physical and occupational therapy as he works to improve several areas of mobility and function. His therapy plan focuses on increasing standing tolerance, improving range of motion, building strength, and addressing other challenges that can affect daily activities.
At Magnolia Ridge, rehabilitation is viewed as more than improving a single skill or ability. The therapy team takes a comprehensive approach, recognizing that successful recovery often requires progress in multiple areas at the same time. By combining physical and occupational therapy services, the team works to help patients build strength, improve mobility, and gain the confidence needed to achieve their goals.
This collaborative approach reflects Magnolia Ridge’s commitment to treating the whole person. Therapists, nursing staff, and other caregivers work together to support each patient’s recovery journey and create a plan tailored to their individual needs.
Whether recovering from an illness, injury, or hospitalization, patients benefit from a coordinated effort focused on helping them safely return home and resume the activities that bring meaning and enjoyment to their lives.
We’re grateful to the facilities who have already shared their stories — keep them coming!
