National Assisted Living Week is one of the most important events of the year for assisted living and specialty care assisted living facilities.
Held annually since 1995 and always beginning on Grandparents’ Day, National Assisted Living Week is September 8-14, 2024. The observance is sponsored by the National Center for Assisted Living and recognizes the role of assisted living facilities in caring for America’s seniors and individuals with disabilities.
2024 Theme: Inspiring Generations
“Inspiring Generations” is the 2024 theme for National Assisted Living Week (NALW).
The National Center for Assisted Living offers insight on the theme: “‘Inspiring Generations’ offers assisted living staff, communities, residents and families the opportunity to look at how assisted living has evolved and grown, inspired by the residents and those who care for them. This is a chance to listen and learn from each other, share stories and wisdom, and find inspiration from those around you.”
