Description
Ahava Healthcare of Alabaster, a Skilled Nursing Facility, is excited to announce we have a position available for a compassionate and qualified LPN professional.
Day and Night Shifts Available!
LPNs are a critical and important part of our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing sincere quality care centered around patient-driven outcomes, managing and aiding certified nursing assistances assigned to patient population, and consistent collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, family and physician on progress and changes to the person-centered care goals.
Responsibilities;
• Document in the medical record clinical components related to Mar, Tar, progress notes, and assessments/observations.
• Observe patients under medicinal treatments to identify progress, side-effects of medications etc.
• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Clean and dress wounds.
• Collect samples for lab testing as assigned
• Provide emotional and psychological support when needed
• Real time communication with patients’ family or responsible party with any changes to resident care.
Requirements;
• Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work with a multidisciplinary team.
• Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices, HIPPA compliance.
• Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology.
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office and data entry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and able to multi-task to deal with conflict resolution.
• Abide by all regulations, policies, procedures and standards set by the Facility.
• Active LPN license
