Sometimes, the best memories are made with a fishing pole in hand, good food on the table, and great company all around.
For our residents, a Father’s Day men’s fishing trip marked a special milestone: our first BIG resident outing since COVID. It was a day filled with fresh air, friendship, laughter, and plenty of stories to share.
The gentlemen spent the day casting their lines and enjoying the beautiful outdoors. Some fish were caught, some may have gotten away, but everyone came away with something even better — time spent together creating new memories.
Of course, no great fishing trip is complete without a good meal! A special thank you to The Rising Crust for providing a delicious lunch of pizza and wings that everyone enjoyed. The meal was the perfect addition to an already memorable day.
Most importantly, the outing gave our residents an opportunity to reconnect, enjoy fellowship, and experience the simple joy of getting out into the community together. After years of limitations and uncertainty, being back outdoors with friends made this Father’s Day especially meaningful.
This outing was about much more than fishing. It was about friendship, sunshine, laughter, and making memories that will last a lifetime.
We’re grateful to the facilities who have already shared their stories — keep them coming!
