The Alabama Nursing Home Association’s 2026 Mid-Year Convention brought long-term care professionals from across the state together for several days of learning, connection, and collaboration focused on strengthening care for Alabama’s seniors.
Throughout the week, members participated in a series of sessions designed to equip leaders with the tools, strategies, and knowledge needed to navigate today’s healthcare environment. Topics included leadership development, effective communication, regulatory updates, AI, and much more, with each session centered on supporting those who provide care and enhancing outcomes for residents.
Beyond the educational programming, the convention provided opportunities for meaningful connection and collaboration among peers. Conversations throughout the event reflected a shared commitment to advancing quality care, strengthening teams, and addressing the challenges facing the profession.
ANHA also recognized the important role of its sponsors, whose continued support helps make events like the Mid-Year Convention possible. Their investment in education and professional development contributes directly to the progress of long term care across Alabama.
The convention concluded with a sense of momentum and renewed purpose. Attendees left with new ideas, strengthened partnerships, and a continued focus on what matters most — delivering high-quality care and supporting the dedicated professionals who make it possible every day.
ANHA extends its appreciation to all speakers, sponsors, and attendees who contributed to the success of this year’s event.
