LINCOLN, NE – NRC Health, an organization that has helped its partners illuminate and improve the moments that matter most to patients, residents, physicians, nurses, and staff for over 35 years, shows that the Alabama Nursing Home Association and its member facilities are exceeding the national average year after year.
According to a recently released analysis report from NRC Health, 93 percent of families responded “definitely yes” or “probably yes” when asked if they would recommend Alabama Nursing Homes as a place to receive care — compared to 89 percent nationally. In addition, 90 percent of residents said “definitely yes” or “probably yes” when asked if they would recommend the nursing centers as a place to receive care.
More than 10 years ago, Alabama Nursing Homes embarked on a journey to prioritize customer satisfaction, and have since used feedback received from surveys fielded by NRC Health to continually enhance the quality of care they deliver. Since partnering with NRC Health, the nursing centers have steadily improved their satisfaction scores and are consistently exceeding national averages.
“The exemplary satisfaction rates from the Alabama Nursing Home Association demonstrate their unwavering and ongoing commitment to improving the moments that matter most to their residents, families, and staff,” said Rich Kortum, director of strategic partnerships for NRC Health. “We are grateful to partner with an outstanding organization like ANHA, and proud to assist them in setting the benchmark of success for post-acute quality of care.”
“These results clearly show we’re meeting the expectations of our residents and patients,” ANHA Chairman Frank Brown said. “Family members can feel confident that we’ll meet the healthcare and social needs of their loved ones. We appreciate this strong endorsement of the work our nurses and staff members do each day.”
