Marshall Manor, located in Guntersville, Alabama, recently received the highest rating possible by the Alabama Department of Public Health.

After conducting the annual, on-site inspection, a team of state government inspectors found the facility to be “deficiency free,” which endorses that the facility was in compliance with the rigorous criteria outlined by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

“Our staff endeavors to always do their very best in providing quality care for our residents. We want to be deficiency free in our own eyes every day and know this can only be achieved by taking ownership of our individual responsibilities and fulfilling them with a consistent dedication to excellence in every department,” Marshall Manor Administrator Pam Vogt said.  “The survey results offer affirmation to the fact that we strive daily to ensure our residents are receiving the care they deserve.”

Readers of this website received an up close look of the quality of care in an article about Marshall Manor resident Pat Cryar. Marshall Manor employees helped Pat, who has cerebral palsy, speak for the first time. You can read Pat’s incredible and inspiring story here.

Marshall Manor is also ranked as a “Five Star” facility by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Information about the ratings and the standards that accompany them can be found at Medicare’s Nursing Home Compare website.

Marshall Manor is the recipient of the 2012-2013 Excellence in Action Award from National Research Corporation. You can read more about that here.
