Committee Purpose: To coordinate and oversee the accounting and budgetary aspects of ANHA

Assisted Living Facility Committee

Committee Purpose: To assist in planning and monitoring the implementation of assisted living facilities into Alabama and to review and monitor criteria that ensures Alabama’s elderly are being cared for in the appropriate setting

Associate Member Committee

Committee Purpose: To involve Associate Members in the general business of ANHA

Convention Committee

Committee Purpose: To plan and monitor ANHA conventions

Education Committee

Committee Purpose: To plan and monitor professional development seminars for the ANHA membership

Facility Standards/Quality Assurance Committee

Committee Purpose: To negotiate and establish a fair and equitable survey process in Alabama and to provide assistance to problems members encounter with the regulatory process

Human Resources Committee

Committee Purpose: To plan and monitor human resources problems that affect the nursing home industry

Legislative Committee

Committee Purpose: To plan and monitor statewide and federal legislative activities

Life Safety & Physical Plant Committee

Committee Purpose: To inform membership of updated information regarding life safety code and physical plant changes

Membership/Ethics/Charter & Bylaws Committee

Committee Purpose: To ensure that all members in ANHA meet the membership criteria and to ensure that all actions of the ANHA are in accordance with the Association’s Charter & Bylaws

Payment for Services Committee

Committee Purpose: To establish and recommend a fair and equitable reimbursement system for Alabama’s long term care facilities

Public Relations Committee

Committee Purpose: To plan and monitor all public relations strategies and programs of ANHA
